Volunteers Still Needed as Training Begins

"We need more than 20,000 volunteers for a party of 2 million people." These were the words used in the massive campaign to encourage young people to sign up as volunteers for the World Youth Day (WYD) event. Since then, over 6,000 people have asked to be a volunteer.

Volunteers from all across Spain came to Madrid this week for the first Training Program Workshop. These, along with international volunteers, will be using their many talents to make World Youth Day successful through it's volunteers. There are various different areas in which young people can volunteer to serve. Many volunteers are still needed in order to make WYD run smoothly.
